Wills & Estates

Because none of us know quite what life holds next, your Will, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardian documents are extremely important in the management of your affairs both whilst you are alive and (in the case of your Will) after you die. When these documents are properly considered and prepared they can save a great deal of stress, time and money when they are needed most. If you loose capacity to make decisions for yourself it may be too late to make a valid Will or to appoint an Attorney or Enduring Guardian.  It is essential that these documents be in place while you have the capacity to make your own decisions.

Our Wills and Estates team can assist you with:

  • Drafting of your Will and Powers of Attorney;
  • Drafting of Enduring Guardianship;
  • Drafting and considering the terms of any trusts you wish to create; and
  • Assisting you to contest a Will that you have been left out of

Compensation, Motor Vehicle and Insurance

Emma Mead is an accredited specialist in Personal Injury Law. Emma has over 14 years experience representing her client’s who have suffered from an incident that was not their fault.

At Burke Elphick & Mead™ Lawyers we want people to understand the importance of getting expert legal advice with their claim; the same way one gets expert medical advice after suffering injuries in an accident. It’s the same with legal advice, people should not be afraid to seek out a specialist to help them with their particular situation.

Emma Mead can give that advice and assist in trying to put that person life back on track. A compensation claim can affect not only the person involved, but their whole family. Financially and emotionally it can be a difficult time.

Emma Mead can provide assistance, advice, and legal representation in Court for the following claims:

  • Motor Vehicle Claims
  • Insurance Claims
  • Workplaces claims and disputes
